Spalding

The Spalding company was created in Chicago in 1876 by Albert Spalding, a pitcher and manager of a baseball team. Under the slogan "True to the Game" and using the keywords "Heritage, Perfomance, Respect, Autentic and Contemporary" as its ideals, Spalding has specialized in the production of balls for different sports, but is most-known for its basketballs. Spalding also makes a range of products for baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball and american football.

Official partner of several teams, organizations and national associations for several years, Spalding is proud to produce the official basketball for the NBA since 1983. Spalding balls are also used in the WNBA since its creation in 1997, and from 2012-13, Spalding is also going to be the official ball of the ACB in Spain. Spalding also wears several European national teams, like Slovenia, Macedonia, Poland, Belgium, Holland, Finland and Austria, as well as the German team of the wheelchair.
